Planting Instructions
- Start with making the hole about about twice the size of the root ball. If there are ropes on the root ball, make sure they are all removed.
- Do not remove the burlap around the root ball. The burlap will decay and protect the small root hairs. If your tree has a wire basket around the root ball, also leave that intact and in the hole. The roots will grow through the wire basket.
- Back fill and gently step on the soil to remove any air pockets. Water every day for the first week and then every other day during the summer.
- Remember, if it is dry make sure you water your trees. In the fall when the weather starts to cool, you won't have to water again.
